Dog clipper blades such as Andis or Oster A5 are dismantled, cleaned, checked for spring tension and damage, sharpened, lubricated then assembled and tested. We package each blade into a new foam lined plastic container to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. These can then be used for storing your blades and for shipping back to us for subsequent servicing. NOTE; Excludes Moser Arco blades.

Ceramic cutter blades are sharpened on a diamond plate.

We only require the 2 parts of the blade which we will clean and inspect on receipt. As Horse blades are used much less frequently than dog blades they are often rusty but normally serviceable. We use the cleaning wheels to remove the rust prior to sharpening both parts on the Nebraska Blades machine. Once this is done we clean the blades then lubricate and test on our own clipper - assuming compatability. The blades will then be packaged into a foam lined plastic container with a foam separator

We can service and repair most types of Dog and horse clippers. A service comprises external clean and inspection, dismantle, internal cleaning (hair removal), inspection of the mechanical and electrical components, plug and lead inspection and test, filter clean,carbon brush check, blade latch & spring check, drive lever check, grease appropriate parts, reassemble and test. 

NOTE; If faulty parts are found we will contact you to advise replacement costs prior to repair.

Fully Convex or Bevel edged premium scissors are cleaned, inspected, dismantled then each blade separately sharpened using the appropriate sharpening machines which gives perfect and precise results time-after-time. The inside 'Ride Line' of each blade is then honed following which the scissors are lubricated and re-assembled, balanced, tip alignment checked then tested on appropriate medium.

These do not generally need to be taken apart to be sharpened but will be tested and lubricated prior to shipping.

We can add serrations to any scissor blades if required for a small additional charge.
